Beja Castle hosted the third edition of the Alentejo Border Castles and Fortresses Event on the theme of the Revolution of 1383-85 – Rota do Constable and Treaty of Windsor, on the 29th and 30th of June.
A dozen local associations were present at the event that received about a thousand visitors this weekend, showcasing the arts and traditions of the territory and its people.
There was the period music concert at the Castle on Saturday night, as well as various activities that could be experienced by everyone who went there, contributing to another successful Portugal Events event – Castles and Fortresses of Fronteira do Alentejo.
