Noudar, an ancient Barrancos Municipality walled village, hosted the last of the six initiatives of the Alentejo Border Castles and Fortresses Event on the theme of the Revolution of 1383-85 – Rota do Constable and Treaty of Windsor, on November 16th and 17th.
We were pleasantly surprised by the visit of around half a thousand visitors who ventured on the winding road to the Castle to discover the arts and traditions of the territory and its people.
On Saturday night, the Main Church of Barrancos hosted a concert of musical themes of the time.
It was, without a doubt, the pinnacle of excellence for the success of Raiya Viva – Portugal Events – Border Castles and Fortresses of Alentejo.
